NetID vs UTD-ID

All members of UTD are issued a UTD-ID, and later, a NetID. This page is a quick overview of how to recognize each ID and where they will be used.

UTD-ID

Your UTD-ID is a ten (10) digit number that acts as the unique identifier for your account. It would have been issued to you by mail when your application to UTD was processed.

Your UTD-ID should be kept confidential; never share it over email.

Use your UTD-ID and Date of Birth to pick up your NetID and create a password at netid.utdallas.edu.


NetID
